Another good day in Montana
« on: September 07, 2010, 12:37:00 AM »
Went hunting over on the Boulder with a buddy to try and help out with an over abundance of alfalfa eating deer on a neighbors place. About 7:00am this old girl started to take a path that would have put her well out of my range but when another deer started snorting at my buddy south of me she veered and came right to me. She stopped at eight yards and looked away, that was all she wrote for her. The AD Trad with a 160gr Griz blew thru the lungs and out the other side. Shooting my trusty old Green bow from Keith Deters.

Doug, I don't think I ever had anything less than a good day in Montana. Congratulations on the meat. Save the alfalfa!

Way to go Doug.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
