colo mule deer
« on: September 21, 2010, 05:37:00 PM »

I got this deer on Sept 3 after a long afternoon in a tree stand over water.  Walking out I stopped to glassed a meadow.  His head popped up out of the tail grass about 40 yards out.  I cow called and he relaxed and began wondering aimlessly.  He went out of sight behind a small rise, I quietly worked my way around to get ahead of him. He reappeared at 30 yards broadside and still relaxed so...

Black widow long bow 55# and a sharp woodman..

Congratulations Joe, a mulie can be one of the more difficult deer to harvest, especially with traditional equipment.  You should be proud of that animal.
