Wow! You're having a great year! Congratulations! Where abouts did you hunt the pig? What are the specifications for your set-up? Cheers, Ben

it's 48 @ 28...bocote....62 inches in length.

using beaman classics 500 @ 9.7 per inch.  The bh on all 3 critters was magnus stinger 125 g.

the pig was taken in maine - fenced operation- but i had to drive right past it on my annual turkey hunt in Maine....differant - but fun!

the antelope was in Wyoming and the bear was here in my home province of Nova Scotia.

Currently trying to fill my 2 deer tags....without much success lol!  They are proving harder than normal this year....been out every evening and a couple mornings as well....passed on one small doe, and that was really my only shot opportunity thus far!  Seen a couple out of bow range, and busted by a couple others.....back out in the morning tho!

Now that's a busy bow.  Great hunting weapon.  Congrats.  jeff

Congratulations. Did you weigh or measure the bear?

yeah....the bear was not huge by any streatch....it weiged 230 live weight i estimate.
I weighed the feild dress bear and it was 200 lbs dead on....so i think the safe convertion is about 15% for live vs dressed weight.

This was trhe 19th bear i saw....passing on the previous 18....from tc's i know it was the second biggest at the site.....the biggest (probably 350lbs) was completely nocturnal...so when this fells gave me the "shot" i took it!  I've killed alot bigger for sure...but i was happy with him and he'll eat well!

hey guys thanks foir the replies....the "newbow" mojo must be wearing off lol!  3 weeks into the deer season and still no deer lol!  and i been hunting!
deer numbers must be down....seeing few and getting fwer opportunities!

all part of the game tho - i understand and appreciate that...just saying!
hopefully things will pick up with the cooler weather.....
