S.D. Whitetail
« on: December 24, 2010, 06:26:00 PM »
This 10pt. was taken Nov. 5 in western S.D.The bow was a 45# Dwyer Defiant, using uncut CX Heritage 150's w/50gr. inserts and 125gr. Magnus broadheads.I was sitting on the side of a log pile about 6ft off the ground, when he came by at 5 yds.It was a double lung pass thru,I watched him go about 100yds then lay down.He did'nt get back up.It's good to have meat in the freezer.

Nice deer!  :)  S.D looks like a really nice state. Nice and open and quiet. Great shot! Wish that had happened to me this passed season. Shot over a doe at like 15 yrds. Adrenaline was pumping and just didnt pick a spot though. Im kinda glad i didnt hit her. I didnt want to make a bad shot and gut her or spine her. Great deer man!
