First hunt ever with my dad, a success!

Hey peeps, just got back this morning from a hog hunt in central Florida at Hog Heaven Preserve. This particular hunt was my first time hunting ever, and my Dad's first hog hunt. We both got into traditional archery last December and fell in love with it. Yesterday, we passed up a young sow, hopefully for a medium sized boar or sow the next day. Our guides put us in a stand and we got what we wished for, something not to small, but also not to big. I shot a medium sized male and my Dad shot a medium sized sow. Both of our shots were at about 15 yards or so and we were both using Martin Bamboo Vipers 55#@28" (My Dad is lefty though) using 3 Rivers Hunter arrows with Woodsman Elite Broadheads on them (got a pass through with mine, was suprised at that
) . Here are some photos of us with our hogs.
After, we got the hogs skinned drove back down to Miami and droped the cuts off with a guy who's going to make us some sausage :D . Can't wait for that. I'm glad I got my feet wet before i go off to college in the fall. Cant wait to go hunting again, maybe for turkey or deer this time.
Happy Hunting,
Ryan
