I have had the itch to go get a notch on my new Bob Lee so i filled up a feeder and gave it several days. I got in my stand about 20 min. before the sun came up and about 15 min. after it got light enough to see i heard foot steps coming my way. I finally picked up movement and saw it was a hog. the feeder had not spun yet so i knew he wounldn't hang around long so i stood up and got ready. He came down a trial that was going to put him at 15 yrds. As he cleared the trees and came into my opening i picked my spot and let the Easton A/C/C tipped with a 125 grain Muzzy Phantom fly....It found the sweet spot and got both lungs with a complete pass through. Last year was my first year to shoot traditional and i was able to arrow a buck as well as a coyote! It still blows my mind how much more rewarding it is to kill an animal with traditional equipment vs a compound bow. Good luck this hunting season (Thank GOD it is almost October) we are at 42 days of +100F in a row.
Here is a pic of the boar and the new bow. Bob Lee Signature 58# @ 28"......
