doubled up on some pigs this morning...
« on: August 11, 2011, 12:17:00 PM »
Just happened to see a big boar laying in the creek this morning so i pulled around and got the wind right and took off in stealth mode. he stood up and went into the brush when i was about 75 yrds out and was gone. a little disappointed i headed back to the truck, i happened to look up and see a group of pigs rutting around the creek bank so it was game on again. I slipped into around 15 yrds and set down, not long after i sat down here they came. I drew back and grunted to stop the one i had picked out and as soon as she stopped i let it rip. I didnt notice that another little boar was walking behind her. I got a pass thru on the sow and she was Dead on her feet, the little boar took the pass thru in the back legs and pinned him down i grabbed another arrow and got a lung/heart shot on him and it was all over. I have never taken drugs but know that the high i get over bow hunting is better than anything on the street! If i had any doubt before this morning of giving up my compound it was solved this morning. I now have a brand new Matthews z7 for sale LOL!!! here are my two trophies from this morning.

Pigilicious!
TGMM-Family of the Bow

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Good hunting and shooting!  In TX, I'm sure hunting water sources right now is money (if you can find any).

That is the key, you find water you will have all sorts of critters show up.
