Just grousin'

Got 3 spruce grouse the other morning, soaked them in milk for a bit and they were pretty good.

Here's a pic, Hope and Scooby were good company and a big help !

I knew when I saw your pictures, before I saw where you were from, that it was Alaska. I live in Wa state now but lived for 25 yrs in Soldotna on the Kenai river and I recognized the location from the birch trees with leaves on the ground and yep spruce hens. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

Hey Tim, great shooting!  I grew up in the interior of the 49th State and really miss the Fall hunting season!  Nice pictures.  :)
