Maryland 2 step
« on: October 15, 2011, 09:44:00 PM »
Got to hit the Sika marsh this morning with big buck killer Bob Palmer and while all I did was deal with trespasser's Bob was doing much better! Although the real big stag got away he still managed his best stag with a 29 yard shot using his Schafer Silvertip and VPA broadheads.

Another freind also killed a stag and we spent most of the morning hauling that delectable venison out of the woods. My cell phone has a step counter on it and said we walked 8 miles before lunch....we were grinnin the whole time!!

Got the deer squared away in time to get into the whitetail woods close to home. I managed to arrow a long nose ol doe at 20 yards with my Titan. Love it when you hit THE spot you picked, I'm still grinin with that shot!!!The Buzzcut had her down inside 100 yards! Gonna be hard to top this great day in the woods!!!!!!

Here is our Maryland version of the cover of "Bowhunting rutting whitetails"

Hey John, Congrats to you guys. You guys really had a great day. Concerning getting the deer out of the woods and marsh, you could just say it was a labor of HUNTING LOVE(LOL), but those Sika is some fine eating. Thanks for the nice pics as well. Good Luck the rest of the season.

Awesome day!
TGMM-Family of the Bow

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

That's awesome! I always forget about those deer until a tradgang member reminds me.
