Home Grown Doe

I finally made it back onto this forum.

My set up was:

60” Morrison, Dakota 56# at 29”

30.5” Carbon Express, Heritage 250 arrow with a 125 grain Woodsman broadhead and three 5” shield cut feathers

Total arrow weight 650 grains.

The shot was a slightly quartering away 10 - 12 yd shot. The arrow entered high on the left side and exited behind the elbow on the right side. Right where I was expecting.

the shot was a complete pass through and the arrow cut through both lungs. I'm not sure how long it took her to hit the ground, but if she was on her feet for 7 seconds I would be surprised. She went down quick!

Get out there and hunt and good luck to you!
