Late Season Sika
« on: January 15, 2012, 01:02:00 PM »
Needed one more for the freezer  ;)  Went to a public land property I know pretty well and set up on the edge of a big swamp. Saw 10 or so total and took the largest of a foursome about 9 am! She saw me as I drew and quartered to me a tad...I aimed further forward and centered her heart. Was about a 5 yard shot! She went 30 yards crashing through the ice! Long drag out but the table fair will be worth it!!!       Shot her with my tried and true Schafer and a VPA broadhead.

Congrats, Bob!  Would love to see one in the woods some time.
