Lucky Rabbit 01/15/12

Shot this big fella on a full tilt run. He made it about 10-15 yards past when I hit him in the back of his head with a Hex Head on a doug fir. Griffin Longbow "Shakira" 47# @28". It doesnt get much more fun than hunting these things with a group of buds using bunny driving techniques.

A campfire would sure have been nice for roasting him up but I hung him in the dry, cool basement for 5 days and aged him as Ive read that European butchers would do with game and he sure did eat well. My sons and I ate him in a stew. I need more.   :pray:
