Daughter's first true "Robin Hood"
« on: July 21, 2012, 09:47:00 PM »
I'm generally not one to gloat, but what sort of doting father would I be if I didn't share this shot?!  It isn't a 12-point buck, but it made me proud none-the-less!

From 12M, shooting her Shakespeare WonderBow.  If it wasn't for shooting carbon arrows, she probably would have split the shaft.

Not bad for 11YO

The best part?  After making the shot, she insisted I make the now-unusable nock into a necklace charm (which she hasn't taken off since).  Kids are the greatest!

Awesome....and good on you for making the necklace from the nock.  She'll be showing that off for sure.

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Thanks to all for your positive response.  She had a ball at Denton Hill this year and proudly wore her "nocklace" throughout(though she was a little disappointed in missing a shot in the Eagle Eye).
