WOW! What a wonderful buck. It pays to be patient doesn't it! Great job and great shooting. How much did he weigh? Any idea, he looks pretty solid and heavy for an "early" buck.

He field dressed 172 pounds, would have been over 200 in another month or so..  They are the heaviest here in mid-late October

Headed to Western Kentucky October 23rd! Former Bear Rep Tom Lutz invited me out to hunt with him ,and stay at his home. I am honored to have this opportunity. If I don't harvest my first deer with a bow on this trip, at least I will be in good company.
