I often say "you dont kill great deer by shooting good ones", I've never killed a great deer until now!

Last season I passed over 60 bucks, eating my tag.  I didn't regret it then and certainly don't now!

I'm fortunate to live in a place where unlimited antlerless deer can be taken but only one antlered.  I did take 5 does last year, and had no taxidermy bills...  :)

Great story Joe and super deer.  Everything about the story screams what I know about you; good decisions, competent hunter, and enthusiasm for bowhunting and the quarry!

Very deserving!

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

What a great hunt.  Congrats on a awesome deer.  Interesting how he didn't react to the first shot.

Awesome deer Joe! I still can't stop looking at it! I couldn't imagine seeing a deer like that in the woods much less killing it!
