Hope this works.
Just joined the site but have been lurking/learning from it for a while. Anyway, I got pretty lucky the other evening. Been trying to make the transition from the compound for a while now and this is the first year i've felt confident enough to take my recurve hunting. Saturday was opening day here in TN and I decided to go for it and take the recurve. As luck would have it this guy walked within 5 yds of my tree. Definately boosted my confidence. I think I might sell the wheel bow.

Very nice deer and getting him that close is a feat that was rewarded. I haven't had the enjoyment of trying to pick a spot on a deer at 5 yards!
I'd say you are hooked now and to put the compound under lock and key (like mine).
