Kentucky Tasty!
« on: September 29, 2012, 10:01:00 PM »
Well, I like to wait for the October lull to really start taking shots at does. Its close enough. Went in late today to a old ground blind in a super funnel. Had a perfect wind for it so I popped up the chair and waited. Had a doe come through around 5:30 just out of range then three more came through at 6:30. One of the little gals got too close to the dead pile of cedars. Hit her in the left shoulder and the Grizzly zipped through her almost long ways exiting right in front of her right back ham. I never found my arrow as it tucked under the grass somewhere. She made it about 30 yards on a dead run. Meat in the fridge. Get the crock pot out honey! Good day!

Charlie, that is a fantastic blind chair. IMO the perfect balance of mobility and comfort and it's very quiet. Got it at BPS for $25. I can strap it on or fold it up and stuff it in my back pack for the walk in.

Very nice. Sounds like a great time in the woods. I plan on getting after them on the ground this year too.

very nice
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
