First Traditional Deer
« on: October 10, 2012, 11:46:00 AM »
My brother Dakota got his first deer with his longbow last night. He was shooting a 45 lb tunderstick mag with cedar arrows tipped with a 145gr stos head. It was a 10 yard shot and he found her 70 yards away. I'm very proud of him and wish I could have been there with him.

Congrats to Dakota!

There sure are a lot of people getting their first trad kills this year, and that is an awesome deal.

Congratulations, may it be the first of many.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
