Broke in my Jess Stuart bow this week
« on: October 17, 2012, 10:38:00 AM »
Decided to stop letting deer go by and take the next doe that offered a shot Monday night so that I could break in my new Jess Stuart RMR knock off.  With the 45@25 limbs, a Grizz stick shaft and WW head it zipped right through at 20ish yards.  Pretty sure she had no clue what happened.  Just a couple initial bounds and then 10 seconds or so standing and looking back until she got a little wobbly and did the death run.  Watched her fall in the two track I walk in on.

I also(finally) got to use one of my own knives for the peace work.  I usually have given them all away prior to the season starting so have never gut a deer with one of my own.  This one is a little Cable over 15n20 over 1080 san mai.  It worked as required and retained a nice edge - Can't ask for much more I guess.

very nice!
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Congrats!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
