Italian Traditional Bowhunting: WILD BOAR
« on: October 25, 2012, 01:36:00 PM »
Wild Boar from chestunut stump

HI,
the Slick Trick blade Standard 1"/125 grains continues to amaze me in good, always used with traditional recurve bow of 55# @ 29" with an arrow weight of 570 grains.
It cut the ribs in and out remaining in the body of the animal just because he hit the strong foreleg bone in the exit.
It 's the first time that the blood tracking impressed me for the huge amount of blood on the ground, even though only one entry hole!
The wild boar collapsed after a few meters and I got the confirmation that the shot, when it affects the lower part of both lungs, is most lethal than the same shot in the upper side.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to this from the tree stand for the inevitable inclination.

Thanks

Thanks for posting these great vids,Congratulations.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

That was a really good video and I'd love to have a blind like that.   What music did you use to accompany your video?
