A good year for a young man
« on: December 20, 2012, 09:43:00 AM »
My 14 year old son had a good fall with the trad bow. He took up the recurve last year at 13 and took several Georgia hogs. This year he took a good bear at my Canada bear camp and flat slammed the Georgia whitetails. I urged him to take any buck that came by but he was determined to get the ones we had on tail cameras and passed on several smaller bucks. I sure am proud of him for his hard work this season.     [/IMG]

His bow, by the way, is a Black Widow PMA that a good friend sold to him at a VERY good price. I used to hunt with this guy a great deal and that bow has traveled from Alaska to Zimbabwe. It has some great memories for my old hunting buddy and he said that my son was the only person he would ever consider selling it to. My son guided on hunts for me to earn the money for the bow. A special bow for sure.

Amazing accomplishments for a young guy. Best wishes for many more successful seasons with that Widow.
