Guide's night off, it was "boaring"
« on: March 11, 2013, 07:06:00 AM »
Irv and I agreed to help a rancher friend with his hog problem Saturday night.
We snuck in to a creep feeder the hogs had monopolized and I was able to make a good shot on this boar(on video, too). The Bear Razorhead had him down inside 50 yards in the pasture.

Sweet Jim! The rancher won't have to twist your arm to "help out" again (LOL)Enjoyed our hunt with you and with these kind of pigs around can't wait to come back.

Arwin,
I used a 50# Kohannah Kurve and a GT Traditional arrows with weight tube and 100 gr brass insert.
We will try and get you in there (on that ranch)when you are here.

Todd,
It was great having you two down, looking forward to the next time.

Great job!  Is the video online yet?

I will try and get the video on-line this weekend. My computer has a bad virus, have to get that fixed first.

Just so there aren't any misunderstandings, these hogs are free range on a 3000 acre ranch. There is hog wire on just one side of the pasture the rest is 5 strand barbed wire. The hogs come and go as they please much to the rancher's dismay.
