I got a chance to take my first BBO turkey hunting this morning and I couldn't resist the temptation this Super Jake offered. My first bird taken with a bow I built with my own hands, and tons of help from the gang in the Bowyers Bench. Thanks to all that have helped me. Enjoy.

That is awesome! I tried a bullhead this year and could not get it to shoot where I was looking.

It is 66"T2T 50@26" Bamboo Backed Osage with a paduak and redwood handle. I dyed it with leather die and sealed it with a spray on satin poly. I'm sure there are better ways to do it, but that is just what I had on hand. The boo back stain and clear coat really brought out the rine that I didn't sand out. It sorta worked out that way by accident, but I really like the look, especially when it is in the sun atop a turkey.
