Florida Summer boar down
« on: August 04, 2013, 10:38:00 PM »
I took a small meat hog at one of our properties last Friday. Ten yard shot, ten yard recovery, all on video. I used my Northern Mist Ottowa, GT arrow, two blade Magnus Stinger. Probably the most amazing blood trail I've ever seen. (Not to be too graphic, but there were whole pieces of lung on the ground)

I added the Video link above.
The boar is in the freezer, I'm sure it's going to be good eating. I pass on big hogs(save them for customers) and prefer the smaller ones for the table anyway.

Dang, that was awesome Jim. I was in Orlando last week and should have planned for a few days of hunting.  Oh well, see you in October.

Awesome Jim....I'd be no good if I lived where you could hunt hogs year round!!!

Interesting how in slow mo you could see that hog move a bunch before that arrow got there...looks like the squirrels need a bit of thinin too  ;)
