Had a good 2013 NY season
« on: November 15, 2013, 06:59:00 PM »
Filled my 2 doe tags and a 9pt. Used the same 250gr. VPA on all three. Second year using the VPA's, man love those heads. Used Gold Tip Blem's from Jim and my custom Holm's Osprey 55# @ 30.

Well done......I love Chad's bows.

Joe - Yes it is one of Theresa's new zipper front heavy weight pull overs and it is so nice to be able to unzip and let the heat out when it calls for. That Timber Ghost pattern is working good for me. That second doe I took on a steep hill side from my nephews ( set to low in my opinion ) treestand. She came right up from the bottom and turned broadside at about 7 yard paces. I thought I was going to get busted any minute for she was looking my way all the way up the hill but she never gave me a second look. Something to that black and white pattern.

Nice job, Brian.  It looks like your shooting well.  Were they all double lung shots?  Chad

Chad - I shoot that bow so well. You did such a nice job on the grip, it fits me really well.

The first doe was a double lunger pass through. The buck and second doe was a lung- top of the heart aorta valves.

Thanks again Chad, love that bow! Good luck on the rest of your season and hope to see you at Denton Hill this summer.

Thanks for all the congrats guy's. Hope everyone has a good season!
