Who's grinding turkey feathers commercially?
« on: March 15, 2008, 09:32:00 AM »
I tried calling Raven Arrows yesterday and got an answering machine that was not a business or mentioning Raven Arrows. I know they were mentioned as a company that would grind turkey feathers. I've got about 150 feathers that I want ground into fletching.  Any suggestions??

Yep, I was going to say Jan at Raven Arrows does a great job. I sent her 50 primaries last time and received 151 shield cut feathers. She leaves the right amount of quill on the feather.

I just got a courtesy call from Jan saying the feathers I had sent her are done and heading my way. Nice folks. If you are thinking of using them they will be getting very busy soon. Better send them in!

Thanks guys, I'll double check the number I called and try Raven Arrows again.  I had googled Raven Arrows, so maybe I'll just look in some old TBM magazines.

Thanks,
