First Critter for 2014!

I went to the lease for a few days after New Years and scored on a big old doe on January 3rd! I was hunting in a pit blind and the shot was 12yds. The arrow went thru her heart and she still made it about 100yds!

I shot this doe with my Sarrels Blueridge longbow, Gold Tip 55/75 arrows, and a 150gr German Kinetic broadhead.

That log has had a lot of blood on it form your ability to place a sharp arrow in the vital organs of beautiful animals....... Congratulations on a good start 2014!
