Birthday Doe

Finaly after 2 years of shooting nearly everyday and many hours on the stand not to mention haveing to pass on the biggest buck id ever seen becsuse he was not in recurve range i connected on this beautiful michigan whitetail my with first recurve 45lb samick sage and a magnus stinger 125 2 blade ended her run at about 45 yds. best of all it was on my sons 2nd birthday. thank you to all of the trad gang brother hood for the lessons and info. I am 29 years old tommorow and i wish i would have done it this way from day 1.next fall i will be useing my very first custom long bow by edward boyd of trinity long bows. you csn see some pics i posted under the pow wow labeled edward boyd of trinity long bows. thank u all so much again.

Great shooting! I too had to pass a 25 yard broadside shot on the largest buck I had ever seen my first year with traditional...it was bitter-sweet at the time but it was worth it in the end.

thank you guys very much. i have one quicm question probably should start another post but oh well. i am shooting beaman classics right now but they are no more and i am getting a new long bow next week at kzoo expo. it will be around 50 to 51 lbs and i want to get gold tip arrows the 3555 i believe but even full length at 30 in and a 125 tip ad well ad 100gr insert id still only be at 483gr is that enough ive been under the understanding 10gr pp is the norm any help would be great guys
