3 hour mule deer season
« on: September 09, 2014, 09:22:00 PM »
Hi.  Well as I was easing through the woods making my way back to camp open morning and a doe gave me a 25 yard broad side shot.  I got a complete pass through.  She just stood there for a few moments then took a few steps and gave me that broad side again.  I shot that second arrow and she ran off.  It was a very easy blood trail.  54# Prong horn long bow and Woodsman head.
In the next 10 days I never saw an elk nor bear.  I'll have 3 more weekends.
I've included a few trail camera pics.

Good luck to you all.
Joe

Congrats. Looks like you have plenty of other critters to chase. Good luck!

Nice
