My season started out great this year. By 8:00 am, opening day I had an arrow in this nice (but small) Roosevelt bull.
The second weekend of the season saw my youngest son and I headed for SE Oregon for a mule deer hunt. This beasty stepped out and posed on the second day of our hunt.
On the last day of our hunt, my son took this buck shown with mine. All of the cameras decided to die before recovery was made so no kill sight pictures of his buck.
I was shooting a 60 lb. Bear Montana longbow, 7595 gold tip arrows with a total of 325 grains up front. A 200 gr Grizzly Kodiak with a 125 grain steel adapter. Total arrow weight was around 725 grains.
