Catching bait
« on: November 17, 2014, 07:51:00 PM »
While on a recent hunting trip to the cabin, my father had been talking about how mice have been eating the cabin.

We had politely asked them to leave, but on this day I was in charge of serving the final eviction notice.

My little brother and I were target practicing from the porch when this trespasser tried to sneak away. I offered my little brother the shot but he said, "no way, I'll break an arrow." You see he shoots that high tech stuff and spends a mint on arrows. I was happy to show him how arrows were meant to be treated.

12 yard shot, no Tracking.

Good shooting, Charlie!!!

I had my neighbors cat broadside at 5 yards last night but I let the old criminal walk.  This made me chuckle.

Well done!  Wouldn't it be nice to be able to do that with every deer we shoot at?  No "mouse fever"!

As the title suggested, we used it for Bait and placed it in a spot to hopefully catch a few other varmints off guard. No such luck...
