NASTY SHAWNEE
« on: March 16, 2008, 06:35:00 PM »
Well I finally got a chance to get some pics of my Shawnee. She is named Nasty... not sure why    . She shoots just as I knew she would being a Morrison. Limbs got some very sweet copperhead skins. She is 52#29"-62" A" riser. Between this TD longbow and my Crow Creek TD longbow I am set. Good thing also cuz tablesaw and air compressor went out and car needs tires. So some of my other bows will be going Bye Bye . But with these Two bows I am set for a LONGTIME!  :bigsmyl:

Frank I remember seeing that riser on Bob's web site, it hadn't darkened like it has now, I love osage when it does that.

Looking forward to the pics too.

When Bob started making the Shawnee we were talking about bows one day and I told him I wanted a bow that looked really nice but was more simple than all the fancy stuff. I told him I liked osage and he said how bout one thats really nasty looking full of knots. I said thats exactly what I had in mind. That looks a lot like my ols riser but its not the one. He calls it NASTY osage because of all the natural character in the wood. I think its great looking. Sometimes less is more. One of Bobs best abilitys is understanding what you are trying to tell him. He has a great vision from your discription and can make it just the way you want. Out Door Dan

Bob does a great job with all the woods; but he does an exceptionally good job with Osage.
