First Woody Kill

For the highlight reel...
Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015

 

My first deer taken with a wood arrow... Douglass Fir tipped with 180 grain cutthroat bh.  Also first with my new to me 60' Cari-bow Tuktu, 60# at my draw.  Full story on the PW.

Very cool.....I use carbon 95% of the time.....but love me some nice wood arrows too.  I think next year,  I may decide to stick with wood for the duration of the season.....just to do it....cuz it's cool   :saywhat:
