After you click ( insert attachment 1 )

If you click preview, "and the preview window opens above where you type your text, and you have to scroll up to it!"

This is what you will see. [ Attachment has not been uploaded yet ]

That just means the picture has not been loaded to the site yet. But when you click post, then it will load to the site.
