Many years ago, for our Alaska Bowhunters Ed. course, we had a steel bear with the vitals cut out. Used to ask the students at the beginning of the course, what they thought their effective range was. The we'd have them shoot it. Changed a lot of folks minds!

One of the clubs near me has an iron armadillo they set up at all their big trad shoots. The hole is a bit bigger than on your rabbit, but it still eats a lot of arrows thru the course of a weekend!!!! It’s most always set pretty close, and I have not broken an arrow in it yet (probably just jinxed myself for sure), but I ain’t skeered to shoot at it!!!!!
