WISCONSIN TRADGANGERS OR ANY
« on: March 19, 2008, 07:11:00 PM »
I will be hosting a sort of meet and greet at my house May 17. We will be meeting here around 9:00 am or so, then we will be going to the archery club (its a half mile from my house) and shooting the 3ds. After that we can head back over to my place for a great cookout (I will supply burgers and buns if we all bring a dish to pass that would be great). Any tradgangers are welcome if they happen to be in the area as well. The more the merrier!! You can e-mail me at [email protected] for directions as well Please resond by may 3rd. I look foward to meeting you all and sharing some stories!!!!!

Rich:  Haven't been up that way in a while, but my brother lives in Appleton.  Will have to check my schedule.  What club are you referring to?

I sure would like to make it, but I'll be at the Rochester traditional shoot that weekend.  Maybe we could meet up another time.
Thanks, Chris

Is that the Wi Rapids club?  My schedule is open for now so it looks like I can make it.  Sounds like a good plan.
How bout it other cheddar heads.  Maybe we can set up a hunt this fall after getting things worked out.

Hey Chris,
Are you staying the entire weekend in Rochester for the shoot?

Whats the club youre shooting at? Twin City? My wife grew up off Cold Spring Road in Neenah and I was a member there for awhile when we lived in Menasha. I used to shoot in an informal traditional club at the Archery Shack in Neenah 3 years ago or so, I think theyre closed now though. We live in Illinois now but are moving back to Wisconsin in the next month and I'd like to come if possible. It would be good to get back in the Sconnie group. Looking forward to it.

Good morning everyone

I did a search on Appleton, WI traditional archers and found this string.

Are there any informal groups in the area who get together once in awhile to shoot?  I belong to the Winnebago Archers and I live about 15 minutes from Old 45 Archery.

I'd like to spend an hour or 2 shooting with some experienced Trad Archers so I can pick up a few pointers and ask about 1000 questions.

I've been shooting on my own, off and on, for almost a year now and I think I'm finally getting to the point where I might know just barely enough to be able to take a little instruction.

Thanks!!!!
