String tracker w glue on BH

Folks, I watched Videos on string trackers and they only show screw in Broadheads, does anyone use a string tracker w glue on BH, if so how do you attach string when you get to stand? Thank you. I like the looks of Chad Orde's model.

I wrap a small piece of the hook side of Velcro, about 2 rows, around the shaft right behind the broadheads. Just put a loop in the string and wrap it around the Velcro. Works good!

I just use black electrical tape. Wrap the string a couple of times and wrap tape around that. I use about 3 inches or so

I tie just behind the broadhead using a pipe hitch. Works great and you don't need to add anything to the arrow.

We used to tie them on with a couple of half hitches then wrap electrical tape around the knot .

I tie just behind the broadhead using a pipe hitch. Works great and you don't need to add anything to the arrow.

Great idea! Now I have to learn how to tie a pipe hitch!

Page 2 in the how to forum is a tutorial by Guru on using the Velcro. The pictures are gone (thanks photo bucket) but the verbage is still there.

I tie a lot of knots, but don't know what a pipe hitch is. I'm guessing it's a clove hitch. Looking at the photo, it may have an extra wrap or two in it. Better than tape.

It's four wraps around and finished with two half hitches.
Very similar to an ascender knot that mountain climbers use.

I use the velcro hook. Start wrap about 3" from end. Wrap twice, go around the main line, then wrap twice in opposite direction. No knots needed.
