I have an acquaintance who has some property in southern IL and he has seen some. This is a pic from my property close to Steelville, MO. This is about 2 hrs SW of St Louis.
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

I read somewhere that armadillos  followed the fire ants north.  Wish they would both go back where they came from.

We get a road kill armadillo now and then here in west central IN.

Finally got a daytime pic of a decent axis deer on my place (And that is not a high fence! It’s a corral, and the deer and other critters like to use the water trough).

Hopefully I’ll get a shot at one one of these days! Axis are the wariest deer on the planet earth!!!!

Also got one shooter whitetail hanging around!

I hope he decides to stay around into next month so we can meet each other in person!

ARMADILLOS...all around st. louis county, they are not very good at crossing the roads without getting hit.

worse than possums I think. :biglaugh:

I've seen roadkilled Armadillo's outside the town of Foley an hour north of St. Louis.

JimB... I love that big brown phase bear.  Always tickled by the cat pics too.
