I was sort of figuring that. Most are (under 40)
My '64 is 42#, which is rather high for a Tamerlane. The HC-300 at 35# feels much better to draw even though both are the same length (69")

I have a lefty 1968 50 pounder, love it!

I see the catalog says the Tamerlane was available up to 50#.

I'm curious if any heavier ones are floating around out there?

Really enjoyed my '63 32lb one I bought new, but it did not math well to what I needed, so seven years later in 1970, it was traded for a fancy takedown.  They were beautiful bows in their early years with lots of rosewood. Especially the first year of production in '63 before they put on those side plates. My 79 year old brother ask me about that bow recently, which shows they evidently made an impression on even folks who don't shoot.  They don't match well for my interests now, so if I had another one, which would be another '63, it would probably just sit on the rack.

Kirk,

Sorry for the slow response.  I shoot my Tamerlane Instinctive. I do not have a sight on it. I have the brush rest which makes me have a solid hook on the string, otherwise the arrow will roll right off.  Love the bow.
