One of my favorite bows.  I think you'll like it a lot.  Alan's workmanship is top notch.  He also seems to find some of the best wood quality around as well.  Enjoy.

Congratulations,  I think you will really enjoy that bow.  I love my Chief as well.   I went all myrtle 64" 50#,  it holds its own against heavier bows.  Mine is a little jem

Sweet bow Irish Girl,  I have Allen's Edge model an really like it.  Now I want the Chief,  shame on you Girl. LOL
Do you know if those Yew limbs darken some with age?   Allen does great work.

Very nice bow..
You posted a thumbnail picture, which is fine.

After you select your picture from your PC or phone, just to the right of the little window where the picture name appears, click ( Insert Attachment 1 ). That will make the picture full size in your post.

Outstanding choice!  I've been shooting one of Allen's new Chiefs for about a month, and really like where he's at with this bow.  I love the new grip.  Ziricote and yew is a nice pairing contrasting woods.   :coffee:  Let us see how it turns out.

Best regards, Chase

I'm with you on the grip, very nice feeling. I'm test driving a lefty right now. This is definitely a
bow I would consider, have never shot one of Allens bows before.
