3d event at BigJims this weekend!
« on: April 24, 2018, 12:20:14 AM »
Just a reminder for those close enough to come hang out with us this weekend (April 28th and 29th). We actually have a couple of guys driving down from Canada for the event.

Together with TAS, we are putting on the traveling sticbow 100 and my place in Albany Georgia.
Two 25 target courses shot twice for score... or just for fun if you prefer.

All targets are Rinehart's and set in a somewhat realistic enviroment. Yeah, not too likely to see Moose in South Georgia, but we keep one on staff just because it is too cool!

The weather has been very mild also. A perfect time to be in South Georgia.

Hope to see your here, BigJim

The weather here has been very hospitable.. Yes I know it's spring, but that normally means much higher temperature's. Hopefully it will hold out for at least another week.

We are steady working on the course.. Well not me, as I can't afford the time away from the bow shop, but I'm a good director(if you ask me). Preacher and Cary.. .and Grub Worm are diligently working to improve the condition of the course and driveway.

Hope to have two new moving targets on the course by this weekend to keep everyone on their toes.

I have a motorized running boar target that has been a highlight for years. No rope pulling, just twist the switch for forward or back.

Working on a additional running target done in the same manner as the hog target mentioned earlier. An upside down zip lining baboon! HA

Also a pop up target in the works. The berzerk, spinnig squirrel target is going to have to wait until fall.

It's going to be fun.. oh, don't forget that I have a supply shop here, complete with over 250 used bows.

Come share the weekend with us... or I'll remember you didn't. Might use it against you if you ever come to me to sell or trade a bow to me.  :) HA!

I can vouch for the weather! Unseasonably pleasant. Been wearing long sleeves in the morning, and 80 in the afternoon here in Tallahassee. Normally by this time of year I’m cussing the heat and wishing for winter again.
