Well got the handle on and cleaned her up good. Need to put a better ski slope on the riser, its not as abrupt as it appears in the pic.  I think she's  beautiful, but that don't matter if she wont hunt. Start tillering tomorrow.
BMorv you were right, its stiff, probably a hundred pounds  hell I don't know.
That handle doesn't look like  I thought it would but it feels good, my hand naturally goes to just the right spot, middle finger dead center of the bow.

Yeah it looks good.  Just take it slow and try your best to remove wood evenly from the entire limb until you start to get some movement. You don’t want to mess up your taper that you worked so hard to get pre glue up.

I'm assuming I should treat this like any piece of hickory. Had a lot of t-storms lately, humidity is high. I bring it in at night but I should probably make sure its good and dry before I seal it and start tillering, that sound right.

I wouldn't seal it.

I would keep it some place that is dry when not working on it.

If you have a heat box, store it in there with a low watt light bulb.

I got a heat tent that I put it in when the unibond is drying, in this weather stays about 90 degrees.

Yea I was chasing chickens, and cutting grass. Been tillering today. I've put live coons in a sack with less trouble than this. But its getting there. Maybe some pics tonight.

Pat, ha ha. I tillered it to death. Gave it to my 2nd cousin whos 8. Our fore fathers didn't make trilams cause their worthless pieces of crap, the ones Roy makes must be photo shopped. I will never make another one!
With that being said gonna make a new post on the proper taper for this thing, I must have screwed it up some how.

Yea it was to stiff to start, so I scraped nice and even to not mess up the taper but I must have had the taper wrong some how. By the time I got the outer to bend right it was to light.
