More later saw 3 nice Toms this morn , my buddy Donald saw about 6 Toms and about 30 hogs. On the walk back to the truck we saw a giant Axis buck. Will be 3 of us hunting for the next 3 days so hope to have more pics to come. My bird last night is a monster jake ( smallest beard I have ever seen )..

Only have service when on the highest parts of the ranch..

Turkeys are not wanting anything to do with the calls or decoys now they will come in and stay out about 100yds. Seeing plenty of birds just no shots , season ends here on Sunday at dark. Will keep after em but and happy to have my jake..

Donald missed a big boar yesterday afternoon...

4-1/2 days of hard hunting and the only arrow I shot was at my turkey. The hunting with friends was great but the animals just had our number on this hunt. We saw prob more than a 100 hogs and had close calls with axis and Aoudad and saw longbeards everyday but just could not make it happen. It was a great time in the woods and I’m very happy with my monster jake.

Thinking about it I guess I have been switching up a lot of bows over the last year or so ( should prob stick with one ). I guess I’m back in the Longbow game and just starting to make wood arrows also. The new Robertson just kind of fell on me it just shoots really well for the way I shoot I guess.
