Man Law - Pics of my new old bow (SuperK!)
« on: March 21, 2008, 01:49:00 PM »
Well-
I have a new favorite bow. I purchased a 1976 Super Kodiak from a fellow tradganger. I shot a friend's (Raineman) SuperK and it just felt "different" and "better" than any other recurve I have shot. I sold an 1899 Swiss Army 96/11 Rifle to raise the funds to buy my own. Just got it today and went out back to shoot it. Wow! Smooth, fast, accurate. Now I see why Fred Bear himself hunted with the SuperK.

You got a deal! What a beauty! Good luck with it!
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Heeeee! Nice bow! Need arras?
Bringing it to Baltimore?  :)
I have 2 Schmidt-Rubins. One long, one short. And bayonettes. One long (and jagged), one short.  :D

The bow is quieter.  :goldtooth:

Beautiful bow! I think the Super K's have the best lines/curves of the Bear bows.
