Kansas gets to use ---
« on: March 21, 2008, 09:05:00 PM »
In Kansas we get to use stone heads now for hunting. It past this year that we can use head other then metal heads, but they have to be at least 7/8"

No I need to build a selfbow for this season and some homemade arrows selfnocks and flint heads.

We also get to go back to a state wide permit instead of those silly unit permits.   :clapper:

Yes thats another big plus, the big negative is that early sesaon muzzleloaders get to use scopes. Thats a bad thing IMO.

I wish there was some way I could mount a stone head to my carbon shafts.  I would definately lay some turkeys down with them.  I'm stoked!! Tripper

I saw some pics somewhere of a guy who rigged up stone heads on some carbons.  I will see if I can find them again.

I am on a mission this year to hunt with stone heads too.  Congratulations Kansas!

I think it was Tippit who mounted the stone heads to carbon. Not sure though.

I have mounted stone heads (obsidian) onto the short thread to glue adaptors. It's not to tough to do.
