Eagle Flight Quivers.
« on: May 17, 2018, 10:40:06 AM »
This is my first Eagle Flight Quiver. I got it mounted on a Wes Wallace recurve. It is rock solid and extremely light. It works great. I love bow quivers, for me, they are the handiest way to carry your arrows while bowhunting. I also added the wing back set attachment.

Looks great -- I'm very pleased with my EFA quiver as well.

Looks great!  I have one with the "totem" rod.  Great quiver.

Thanks guys. I like the way a bow feels with the quiver attached. The Eagle Flight stays in place really well. Now I just got to wait on October 1st. It will be full of Wensel Woodsman broadheads or Bear Razor heads.

Like most archers I have tried about every variation of quiver you can think of at one time or another.  For me nothing beats a lightweight bow quiver in the field.

That looks great Matt ! I really like my EFA quivers as well. Your Wes Wallace is a good looking bow and the quiver is a nice match for it.

That's nice Matt, did you have to buy that extender tab on the bottom holder to move it back a bit. On the site it looks like the holder mounts right to the limb clamp.

Howitzer, the setback, as Don calls it is a 1” piece of steel about 3/32” thick broke on a 90 with about 2” returning back under the strap and 4” doing the setting back. As seen in the attached (I hope) one end fastens to the strap the other to the gripper. It, like the Totem is offered at a reasonable charge at time of purchase. I’m very much an advocate of this product well designed and sturdy, light and quiet in the field. I don’t shoot without mine so it makes me a qualified analyst.

Howitser, that’s the way Mr. Don at Eagle flight sent it to me. That is the wing back set attachment. Call and talk to Mr. Don at Eagle Flight, he is a super nice guy. I really like the way the wing moves my arrows towards the belly of the bow.

Thank for the info guys. I've been hunting with a kind of belt quiver I McGivered. Hangs behind my right hip, clear of the daypack and easily removable. I've been thinking of a bow quiver for this year and these seem great.

Don’s wife, Karen told me years ago and I’ll never forget it, “We make bow quivers for people that don’t like bow quivers “. She was speaking to my type!

I've been looking at their quivers and they look good.  Does anyone know what hood size will cover long/large 2 blade heads like the Tusker Concords or Simmons Sharks?

Hey wislnwings, if you go to the EFA site and click on the replacement hood foam, I'm pretty sure they list the dimensions of their different sizes (standard, Jumbo, Jumbo II, etc) which should give an idea of what heads will fit if you know the blade length and width!
