Back Button?
« on: February 10, 2007, 09:44:00 AM »
Do other folks experience this?  When I'm reading a PowWow thread and hit the "back" button to return to PowWow main page, the page that shows up is all old PowWow threads.  To get where I want, I have to click on main forums and re-enter PowWow.  It runs about 50-50 for me.  Doesn't happen with TradGang's other forums, just PowWow.

Am I as incompetent as my wife thinks?  Any one else experience this?  Not with my wife, with the back button!    :knothead:

LOL It happens to me too Woody. I was wondering the same thing. I have had it happen in some of the other forums too.

It doesn't happen to me. If I hit the back button from a Pow Wow one page thread, it takes me back to the main Pow Wow page.

Here are your answers.

1. It does happen like that sometimes when you hit the back button. Use the "Shoot On Over To" feature to get a "refreshed" page.

2. Yes!   :D   (how'd that make you feel Woody?)

You almost got it right, Charlie.  Add an exasperated sigh and mutter something snide, and you'll nail it!    :D

Check and make sure.
Go to the top just under the advertisers of this page see my profile click on it,your profile comes up, second down on the left is edit preferances, click on it scroll down and you will see,  default topic view click on box select SHOW ALL, make sure and click update profile at the bottom, before exiting.

Took me abit to figure that one out. All with no help!      :biglaugh:       hopefully that will cure it. It did for me.

Sometimes I hit the Back button, and if the threads that come up are too old, I hit Refresh.

But the Shoot on Over seems to work best, or I just hit Home...because Home is here!

Yeah, it's a sickness.  :banghead:
