Anyone else seen these old recurve bow plans on line. Neat site scroll down till you come to the Archery section. Probably been posted on here before but I just recently got HS internet and never could open up certain sites so never tried. It's a PDF file which use to never load for me. Kinda cool.

That's awesome and inspiring! I liked the picture of Howard Hill's heat-box.

Nice link.
Ben, go to
http://www.bamboorodmaking.com/html/ovens.html
for some ideas on ovens using heat guns for a heat source. A lot of rodmakers got started using this kind of oven, myself included. I built a heat strip box oven later, but wish I had made it a lot longer and wider. Now I want to make bows and my oven is too short

I had been to the site before, but missed the plans. Thanks for sharing the find.
