You could always have an assistant wipe off the drool and pack it for you. :)

I may be interested in some glass. I've been putting off buying any, waiting for quality issues to 'clear up'. Since I prefer working on wooden bows anyhow, it doesn't take much to dissuade me from buying glass to begin with, throw in a streak or two, and I'm out. But I'm ready to redesign my longbow profile again and I think I have like just two or four pieces of glass left.

Hmmm... So, like 27-28 bows in a roll.

Man, a 328' roll of glass. Imagine if that thing got away from ya and sprung open in the shop like a giant itchy spider web  :o

Yep Jeff, it would be like a big spring coming off that coil. I have a containment plan,if it doesn't work, the shop will be a bad place to be when I cut the last coil fastener!! :biglaugh:

What widths will you have available? 1 1/2", 1 3/4", and 2"?  Just clear, or black as well. Someone was telling me that Bearpaw doesn't manufacture 1 1/2" glass.  That doesn't make any sense.

My first order was 1.5 and 1.75 crystal clear and stabilcore which is all 1 7/8” wide I believe. Probably metric on the stabilcore ?

I sell very very little 2” so probably won’t get that for a bit.

Yup, the stabilcore is 1.88".  I only have enough for one bow right now.

Not familiar with Stabilcore, is it a carbon fabric, prepeg strip?

Here is what Bearpaw says about it. I haven't used it but will be trying it soon...

Stabil-Kore is a light weight core material which gives bow limbs lateral and torsion rigidity. Stabil-Kore is a proprietary composite that can be used as an alternative to carbon to increase efficiency and add multi-directional attributes, reinforce limbs, increasing cast, and eliminating nearly all lateral twisting for better in-line recovery and more energy down range. Stabil-Kore is sanded on both sides and is used as a core material and can be used with carbon laminations.

I’m curious how it’s physical weight compares to fiberglass and some of the common core woods.

The stabilcore is very light.  Only .016 thick.  I have used it in five RD bows and while I can't attest to ALL of bearpaw's claims I'll say that it improves stability considerably.  If you are careful with the center line you can narrow the tips quite a bit and still maintain excellent stability.

I haven't used it in an ASL because I don't feel like that style bow will benefit but I'm ready to find out that I'm wrong (again :) ).
