I'm not sure if there is a thread started on this or not....but Ron went in for shoulder replacement surgery today. I just got a text from his son....Lobo is out of surgery and in recovery :clapper:

When you see him or talk to him tell him Tracey and I are thinking about him and hoping for quick recovery. Also we missed him this past weekend at Compton.

Prayers for the nurses too.  😉

Ron looked pretty good sitting up in post op.  Hopefully his pain is managed and he gets on the long trail back.  Ron says he’s going for a November deer camp target at Shrewhaven

Ron's replacement is his bow-arm shoulder. I had my bow-arm shoulder replaced in March. I can now shoot a 30 pound bow fairly comfortably. I am targeting being able to shoot my hunting bow comfortably by August or September. I think Ron's November target date is realistic -- very much so.

Best wishes to Ron for a great recovery, rehab and return to hunting bows.

morning after and Ron is up and at ‘em with no pain so far but that will probably change he says. He’ll have some opportunity to check in here soon.

I just spoke with him. He sounds great, complaining about the food. He said the turkey sausage they fed him smelled like a turkey does when you clean it :o

I will sneak him up some proper vittles soon.
